MIJA has offered her inimitable take on a wide variety of electronic projects over the years. Accordingly, for a collaborative partner of such creative versatility, Mija’s version of the hedsTAPE sample was recorded at the Vintage Synthesizer Museum, an electronic music recording studio located in Highland Park, CA. The sample includes recordings from an original TR-808, a Moog MiniMoog Model D, a Yamaha CS-80 and more. Sounds were recorded through a Universal Audio Apollo 16. This hedsTAPE was curated by MIJA during a collaborative production cycle. Each track is accompanied by a visualizer, and the entire mix is included with each mint.
