Throughout my solo camping trip on Yiruk/Wamoon country (Wilson's Promontory) in Australia, the rising moon was ever present. I had felt in all my hiking there its guidance, watching over me as I reconnected to the land. I found it fitting that on a land named so closely to the moon, I was being guided by it. This was towards the end of a long coastal hike amongst the ocean sand dunes. New, bright vegetation making its home in a remote part of the world.
