Thanks to the tool's ability to render text into super photo-realistic videos, Niceaunties has introduced her new series of works into everyday settings such as the home and the street. Her signature surreal sequencing merges with a realistic visual dictionary, adding an exciting new layer of understanding to auntie culture. Through SORA, Niceaunties continues to explore and represent the question of what it means to be an auntie in contemporary society. This series juxtaposes the fantastical elements of her surreal imagery with the grounded realism of everyday environments, offering viewers a nuanced perspective on the roles and identities of aunties today. Auntea Boba Created during a full super moon at the Mid-Autumn Festival, Auntea Boba is an exaggerated dream reflecting Niceaunties' thoughts on people’s seemingly irrational obsession with bubble tea, ending with a playful health warning. It was also inspired by a summer spent with friends who persistently searched for boba every day, only to find most of the shops closed for the entire season. Created, animated, and edited by Niceaunties in the programmes SORA, suno, udio and elevenlabs. AI generated music by Niceaunties, sound design by Niceaunties.
