Douc S. Tay-Alone is a true Bachelor. He worries on a regular basis about dying lonely and at the end of the road being eaten by feral raccoons when his singleness causes his death not to be discovered promptly. His previous experiences with "Jumble", an online dating platform, did not go well. One time, his date went to the bathroom. She was gone for about an hour. Douc got worried and went checking on her, just to find her hanging from the bathroom window, trying to escape. Another time, his date got quite confused, when he brought his mother along. Douc is not only obsessed with his love life but also details his various daily struggles with over-indulgence in alcohol and cigars in his diary. To finally overcome his loneliness, he decided to join "the Bachelor" to be able to select a wife from a pool of romantic interests. The perfect fit would be someone willing to turn his life story into a musical. If that doesn't work out, there's still his second interest: spending big. Deep down he sometimes enjoys being single a little bit.
