Honkey Dong is a former circus monkey. No one was allowed to go close to his cage because he was able to reach about five feet through the bars and got a toe hold on every visitor whom he disliked. Despite being a really positive guy, he has been described as the fiercest looking thing mankind has ever seen on two legs. And probably his power and truculence are all the more impressive because he looks a good deal like a distant relative. Most likely it's because of the sunglasses he once snatched from a visitor.
