Bloom is an ongoing series of botanical artworks that “replant” botanicals into the digital realm.
Through flower assemblage, mathematically derived generative scripting processes, and expanded time, we see a hybridization of nature, technology, and time. It asks the question: how might species morph, change, survive, and thrive over time, particularly in the digital age and meta-scape.
Bringing nature into a space of awe and wonder, botanicals take on a new identity, as surreal stretching lines bloom upward to reveal a DNA-like helix structure.
My botanical arrangements are a tribute to the ephemera; re-imagining and immortalizing them for the meta-age.
