In April 2023, **[Nicole Behnam](https://twitter.com/NicoleBehnam)**, a web3 Twitter influencer shared that the creator of Dogecoin was launching a free mint NFT project called Blocky Doge 3, creating hype by speaking about it on a **[Twitter spaces](https://twitter.com/ManaMoonNFT/status/1645965182542151680)** and with a tweet (now deleted) saying
> **No roadmap or utility? I'm in 👀**
Nicole received 250 NFTs from the project creator which she then proceed to rapidly sell off on the secondary market, tanking the market value and earning her approximately 20 ETH.
Nicole attempted to redeem herself with **[a Twitter thread](https://twitter.com/NicoleBehnam/status/1646243996740509698)** explaining she will return the money earned. The thread famously contained the phrase **"There were mistakes made in a wallet that I controlled."** (which went viral on Twitter) instead of a direct apology or admission of wrong-doing.
Nicole had just days prior been included in the **[NFTNow 2023 NFT100](https://nftnow.com/nft100-list-2023/)** list of influential people in web3. NFTNow proceeded to **[redact her from the list](https://twitter.com/nftnow/status/1646322841581678594)** after her conduct emerged.
