This fully on-chain artwork is inspired by the groundbreaking detection of gravitational waves on September 14, 2015 by the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO). This monumental discovery confirmed the existence of gravitational waves as predicted by Einstein’s theory of general relativity, marking the first time these ripples in space-time were directly observed. The artwork draws directly from the data recorded during this event, including amplitude, frequency data, distance to the event. This data is used to create a cryptographic key that is used with "D.R.I.F.T" Disruption Rendering and Integration Formation Tool developed by Peng1 to turn this invisible disruptive force of the universe into a visual work of art.
