An eclectic combination of light painting and top-down drone photography, the Painted Waves series uses the shores and waves of Shek O beach in Hong Kong as a canvas for a completely unique set of artworks.
In this piece, Circulus, the drone (equipped with lighting) rotates in a circular motion to light paint a perfect circle above the ground. As the waves move in, the light from the circle illuminates them brightly, further highlighting the contrast between the rocky beach and the incoming water.
