Clerics are conduits of Divine magic, manifesting it as miraculous effects. The New Gods don’t grant this power to everyone who seeks it, but only to those chosen to fulfill a high calling. The ability to cast divine spells relies on devotion and an intuitive sense of a deity’s wishes. Using this energy, Clerics perform healing and inspiring deeds to their allies, while also being able to harness the same power to call down flames from heaven to consume their enemies.
