May 12, 2022 City-Dads: As I roam the City streets, with my camera in hand, I find myself lost on this concrete playground. Everything is so big, larger than life. And in a snap, I am once again a child. Playful and unstoppable, just like when I played superheroes. Yet, at the same time, I feel so vulnerable and scared inside. Afraid of stumbling upon a demon in some unforeseen corner of my mind. Then, I remember your figure, I can see you all around. Your melodic voice and gregarious smile. But it is just a mirage. You are back home, and I am a grown man, capable of facing the world on his own. Still, if you only knew how much I wish you were here, to play with me, to protect me, or just to be by my side right now…Dad.
