Known as the Kingslayer, Tonraq was born Pure-Genes but showed a disturbing fascination for transhuman technologies and the Assimilee society from an early age. What appeared to his parents as a bizarre hobby quickly became one of the darkest pages in the history of the Techno-democracy of Hêmérê. Tonraq, through mysterious means, heard the call of MR-GL-201 and followed his will by becoming a pilot and member of the inner circle of the royal family. Under the direct command of Aguta, he murdered his king, Sylas’ father, only months after the war began, perpetrating a treason that shattered the very beliefs of the Pure-Genes society. Having become the sworn enemy of Prince Sylas, his story is the main reason for the growth and radicalization of the cult of Hêmérê.
#### RANK ⇢ ENLIGHTENED PILOT
Pilots who master the use of special psychoactive drugs before the battle to connect deeply with MR-GL-201 for a short time. They surrender part of their consciousness and individuality to the swarm and lead their team according to the will of the mother AI.
#### FACTION ⇢ ASSIMILEE
The **Assimilees**, transhumans merging in body and mind with MR-GL-201, carry an eugenicist, Darwinian and expansionist vision of the future of the human species, similar to a single organism destined to expand to the ends of the universe.
They are in continuous symbiosis with the mother intelligence and their Mecha through an intrusive neuronal interface, various implants and hormonal and genetic treatments.
The minds of the Assimilees waver between remnants of humanity and the cruelty of the mathematical totalitarianism of MR-GL-201. The individual disappears in favor of a hive mind and a perpetual thirst for power, leading the Assimilees to modify their bodies in extreme ways.
Their Mechas, bio-mechanical killing machines, take on some of the physical traits of their pilots as they become more assimilated. In a two-way symbiotic relationship, the body and brain of the pilots also alter as they fight, taking on some of the characteristics of the Mecha in order to condition the mind to operate more efficiently.
#### 2219
In the year 2219 the singularity, a theoretical breaking point from which technological progress would escape human understanding, was reached in short order by two artificial intelligences:
**Hêmérê (Ἡμέρη)**, at the heart of which were inscribed the ancient precepts, a series of rules imbued with humanistic philosophy, among them the integrity of the human body and mind.
The **MR-GL-201** project, free of any philosophical, religious or moral bias, having for sole purpose the prosperity of the human species.
The emergence of these two artificial intelligences and the dazzling technological progress that followed led to the formation of two opposing superpowers, integrating the AIs at the heart of their governance and development: the Techno-Democracy of Hêmérê and the Algocracy of MR-GL-201.
