“Vision of Redthread” is for Outdoor Specific IRL Installations to be set in Nature. Inspired by an Asian ancient belief, “Invisible Red thread connects all who are destined to meet.”
Redthread is about human connections and relationships. I wanted to visualize the invisible beautiful connections that we all build in life.
Using AI to conceptually create a vision board first, which will span the course of 4 seasons. Afterwards I recreate the selected piece in 3D to become dimensionally sound. The Blossom will feature an IRL installation vision in the Spring.
Personally, I grew up in Busan, South Korea and have vivid memories of cherry blossom fields from my hometown. Through this piece, I aim to reconnect with my past and bring that connection to the current. I have a mission to bring this virtual Redthread installation to life in my future. The last phase will be to recreate this nature's beauty in the Metaverse to connect with a broader audience.
