The TEK Roach is a frontline support unit which is essential to ground warfare. It's offensive abilities are limited to a short range energy pulse which cripples enemy units enough for it to get up close and bash it with its two back appendages, but it's main ability and use is to generate an energy shield in a sphere around it with the diameter of 500 meters shielding artillery units when they are exposed to enemy range attacks, or escorting and protecting short ranged and melee based units until they reach close enough to their targets. The Roach can also perform minimal repairs with it's nimble front robotic arms, while activating a shorter ranged and more powerful shield that covers itself and the damaged unit. It is fast and nimble so it can quickly get to where it's needed, the TEK always make sure to have enough roaches in any large army.
Ladies and gentlemen: we've finally arrived! In cooperation with numerous Collectors from across the Etherverse, we are able to capture and control Etherozoids, at last giving us a chance to prepare for the prophesized galactic threat we call The Dark Tide.
