Let me tell you a true story about a time I had to go to the bank. The teller glared suspiciously when I told her I needed to withdraw some money. She looked kind of exactly like The Trunchbull from Matilda. “What’s the money for?” I said that it's my money, and I don’t have to tell you. She sneered. “Actually it’s the bank’s money, and we ask everyone this question. It’s the law.” I told her I just want to buy some bitcoins with it. “Sorry,” she said, “Bitcoins aren’t real, and besides, they’re illegal. Warren Buffet already said that crypto is rat poison, so you must be a real idiot. I am going to close your account immediately.” “Please, I was kidding. I need that money for rent,” I begged. “Too bad. I already pressed the button to freeze your account. You’re never going to see that money again.” I asked to speak with the manager but she said she is the manager and that her dad owns this bank, and at least three other banks. Then she told me to scram before she calls the police. Tears streamed down my cheeks as I ran to the exit. “Psst, hey buddy.” It was the Janitor, and he looked a little bit like Gandalf. “Don’t worry about her,” he said. “Everyone hates her anyway. By the way, take this.” He passed me a crumpled up piece of paper. I said “What’s this?” But when I looked up, he was gone. So I drove all the way home, which didn’t take long because traffic is always better on the way back. I uncrumpled the paper, and guess what it was? That’s right.
