A new stage in the relationship between nature and man came with the beginning of the industrial revolution in the XIX century. But it was at that time, as a reaction to urban sprawl, there appeared the idea of an ideal garden city, developed by the English utopian sociologist Sir Ebenezer Howard. In the twentieth century, the ideas of architectural bionics (bio-tech) arise, which is based on the comparison of the principles of form formation of living nature and architecture. At the end of the 20th century, genetic and cellular engineering emerged, which marked a new stage in the development of biotechnology. What do we expect from the 21st century? We are waiting for the symbiosis of architecture and cellular engineering, which will help us not to build, but literally "grow" new ecological cities. Cellular engineering is the reproduction of cells of a living organism in artificial conditions. Cells are grown on a nutrient medium, they grow and divide, forming a tissue culture. An entire organism can be grown from plant cells. Scientists have already developed methods for growing plant and animal cells in artificial conditions. The next stage is to program plant cell organisms. An architect-biotechnologist develops a concept of an organic house and then implements it into the cell nucleus structure of plant seeds and fruits. These fruits are planted in the ground and after some time the plant organics forms a whole building according to the architectural blueprint introduced into it. The city becomes like a forest. It is distinguished from the natural forest only by its strict and well thought-out layout.
