描述
This collection takes its inspirations from Nolli maps and (gridal) urban morphology. While Nolli maps show figure-ground relationships of the space within a city, they have a very aesthetical graphic. Urban morphology is a very complex structure, but what if it is reconsidered in the most basic, plain rough style.
So how about taking one of the most complex structures and redefining its smallest components with basic design principles? Such as; balance, rhythm, emphasis, hierarchy, symmetry, asymmetry, harmony/unity, contrast, space, proportion, movement, alignment, repetition, centralization, decentralization.
Although the idea comes from a large-scale, complex structure, the results are modest, clear, straight, row, clean, as it is reconsidered with basic design principles. Therefore, it appeals to the aesthetic sense in the most basic, rough and primitive way.
