Calmness in the Madness was created on the first week that I began working from home due to the Covid Pandemic. The world was going mad, with all sorts of guidelines and restrictions being put in place, such as being able to travel no more than 7 miles from your home, only if it was for exercise or getting groceries, etc. I was struggling with the whole idea that I would be working from home for the foreseeable future and how much I would miss the social interactions I had taken for granted over my working life and personal life over the years. I know it had only been one week in, but sitting in a small room by myself, I was mentally drained and I just had to get out of the house to relax. Luckily for me, this location was within the 7 miles radius I was allowed to travel and since this day I have returned on numerous occasions and have been treated to some of the most amazing sunsets and tranquil scenes. Looking at this image now, I'm instantly brought back to a happy place and an hour of my life when nature painted this fantastic work of art. I feel unbelievably lucky to have witnessed this natural beauty and now to share it with someone.
