Who doesn't love a lonely tree? A lonely tree coming out of water, even better right? This little tree is located at Stoneyford reservoir in County Antrim, N.Ireland. I was able to capture this image, by wading thigh high into the water and waiting for the perfect moment, when the sun would peek through gaps in the trees branches, during a sunset. I have returned to this location recently to find that this tree has been damaged, either by stormy weather or it has been simply vandalised. Either way, I am glad I was able to capture this moment and the beauty that this little tree once had.
