14 sequential images. Hand drawn looping animation by Dax Norman. 2025 This piece is based on a painting I created over 20 years ago. I was moved to make an animation of it in the last few months. As my skill level evolves, I challenge myself to create ever more complex loops. They give me a sort of peace make and watch play This piece is very personal to me. The graphics incorporate the floral design that was inspired by one of my favorite shirts that I used to wear. The cowboy walking along as the sun goes down is meant to represent Saint Christopher, who is the patron Saint of travellers. The horse bust was based on a sculpture that my parents had at their house when I was growing up.
