One of my closest friends Donald Wilson Short or "Will Short" died in January 2024. He was only 29 years old. His death has given me new insight into how I should carry myself throughout this journey. I am grateful for the time I got to spend with my friend. He was by far one of the greatest sources of inspiration for me over the last three years - we spent many nights in my art studio talking about our perspectives and cosmologies. He was someone I could tell my strangest ideas to and encouraged the creative freedom of conversation. Those same nights he pushed me to grow artisticly providing solid critiques both in terms of craftsmanship and ideology. My picture is a portrait of a sad man standing in chaos.
