Nah. I'm just playing.
We're so fucking close. Truly.
Their last move is to try and turn us on each other.
It's literally the only move they have left.
We. Are. So. Fucking. Close.
Radical forgiveness will set us free.
Our voice is a weapon. We must stop using it against each other. If we are on twitter, using our voice, speaking our mind, and getting retweets and likes, we aren't marginalized. Maybe we once were, but we are not anymore. When I was on the streets, I had no voice, and nobody looking out for me. Do I still suffer the consequences of how people view the homeless? Sure. So what. Suck it up. I have the ability now to let my voice be heard. I am empowered. If our voice is heard, and others are listening, we are not fucking marginalized.
Acceptance cannot be forced or demanded. It must be welcomed. The marginalized are the groups who have no voice. How often do you see the homeless or Native American populations tweeting about their ailments? Never, right? There are little, if any voices from those communities anywhere. That's the definition of being marginalized. When the only voices you see fighting for a group are outside voices, that's how you know they are marginalized.
It's not that everyone's feelings don't matter. But if people are listening to us, why would we use our platform to complain or cause greater rifts? Maybe it's time to use it to actually bring us together.
