After reading about the shattered remains of some of the Elders temples left behind by the Rupture, Boltan and his crew tried to find one of those hidden sanctuaries from the past using an old map and an Aura sonar. The old writings mentioned the unthinkable and devastating power of the Rupture, how the earth itself looked like a storm at sea and how the whole world changed. Once Boltan and his band were finally able to dig deep enough in the marked area to find an entrance, they were in awe in front of the tilted halls before there eyes. They could barely believe this actually existed. This is where he found the Mask. A small prize, considering it doesn't fit the description of the more rare, more powerful Masks, but still a prize. This is also where they woke up a Syfrael troll and where his brethren lost their lives. You can try to run away on Inmanis, but it might not be enough. As he was fleeing, Boltan knew his only way out would eventually be to figure out a way to use the Mask before the Syfrael would catch him.
