The Weaver is a Sentron archetype in charge of recording events using the ancient practice of weaving mycelium fibers. In this editorial, the Weaver wears a towering, looped headpiece made of intricate neural networks where each ‘knot,’ or sphere, serves as a record of stories and knowledge.
The headpiece is inspired by a futuristic reimagining of Bantu Knots, a traditional hairstyle from the Zulu people. A knitted skirt and trumpet-sleeve top are accented with mushroom leather and button detailing. On its fingertips, the mycelium-like texture aids them in the weaving of network stories—those which, in this universe, will serve a recollection for the next generations.
