Josette was born with the gift of second sight. As a child, she was often ridiculed by her peers for her strange visions and predictive dreams. Her parents, fearing for her safety, locked her away in their home and guard her day and night. One night, when she was 16 years old, she had a powerful vision of a great fire sweeping through her village, killing everyone she loved. Desperate to warn them, she fled her home and ran into the village square, where she shouted a warning to the villagers. The fire broke out that very night, but thanks to Josette's warning, everyone in the village was able to escape and Josette was hailed as a hero. From then on, Josette used her gifts to help others, using her Sight to find lost children and missing persons. She quickly gained a reputation as the most accurate seer in the land and people would often travel for miles to consult with her. Josette eventually settled down with a family of her own and continued to use her gift to help those in need.
