She quickly gained a reputation for being able to cure any ailment. People from all over the kingdom came to seek her advice and assistance. One day, the king's daughter fell ill with a rare disease that no one could cure. Willow was summoned to the palace to see if she could help. After weeks of searching, she finally found the right combination of herbs that saved the princess's life. As a result of her heroism, Willow was appointed as the Royal Herbalist and given a small cottage on palace grounds. She still lives there to this day, helping those in need with her knowledge of herbalism.
