*It is said that you hold the power to write your destiny in life, but what if that genuinely was the case?*  For writer Kasey Smith, that **is** their reality. And this talented yet undiscovered author is more determined than ever to go from **ordinary** to *extraordinary*.  After all, no good story comes without a plot twist (**or several**)...  One dark and stormy night after receiving yet another rejection letter, they decide to visit an indigenous shaman to see what is really in the cards for their future. During a shamanic palm reading, lightning strikes and Kasey temporarily gains the ability to see what the prophet sees – their future not only within this reality but their future within alternate realities as well. And those alternate realities hold success, wealth, and much more...  Blindsided by desire, Kasey now knows precisely what they need to do to make it in the industry and more importantly, exactly what to write to get there. What they don’t know is that they accidentally absorbed some of the shaman’s supernatural powers.  While writing what was meant to be their breakout novel, Kasey discovers something fascinating. Anything they pen, whether it is a whimsical short story or a journal entry full of desires, becomes real life. They soon realize for everything that they can write into this reality, they are also rewriting their recursive realities as well.  *What happens when the power of the pen is unleashed?*  Could their desire for a simulated reality cause their book and their life to fall apart at the seams? Or will Kasey finally get everything they ever wanted? They soon realize that words are more powerful than they ever imagined.  And that kind of power comes with a **hefty** price...  **Meet the Leads** Tiffany Carwile - Published author, journalist, award-winning activist/human rights advocate, and part-time insomniac. However, my most important title is, Mom. :) Not only did I participate in three different CR2 rooms including The Late Show with Jimmy Charrone, Flawed, and GoGoGorilla, you might have caught me on an episode of Adim Radio last year as well!  Joel McGuire - Has been working in the film industry for the last 7 years -- recently as a producer overseeing the development of a slate of low-budget horror films in between his other jobs as a child chauffeur, part-time mixologist, and beer league hockey menace. He is also a huge nerd and increasingly finds himself drawn to all things retro. He has been infatuated with web3 for the better part of two years, which is how he found himself here! Prior to becoming a Lead in the Adimverse, he was a member of the CR2 room Funderdome! Deron Shiley - Is a world-builder and a storyteller. He is a big fan of the Adim POTD and participated in the Local Lore room for CR2. He was also an avid Adim Gym aficionado as well!
