Historically, man's relationship with computers has been a strained one. Much like having a conversation with a local while visiting a foreign country, we do not share the same culture, language, or rationale. Conversing with a computer or asking it to perform a function used to be an incredibly difficult task, one that required years of schooling and exposure. Nowadays most people have access to computers and use them to enrich their lives. Another line is being blurred. Computers can respond to our touch, our voices, and our instincts and often provide us with valuable information. In turn, their tremendous efficiency and ability to compartmentalize and specialize has transformed our world and our own neuropathology. Through our quest to domesticate and use computers, to make them better, faster, and stronger, they have rewired our brains and have changed how we approach most of the problems that we face as individuals and societies. Mind / CPU is a representation of the merging of the digital and biological lexicons. Voxelized structures are perpetually arranged and destroyed while organic connections between nodes grow and decompose.
