Iceland 2020 is a collection of acrylic paintings. It captures the memories of artists who participated in a residency in Reykjavik, Iceland, during the year 2020, amidst the pandemic situation.
In the midst of the global pandemic caused by the impact of Covid-19, I undertook an artist residency in Europe. Following this, I created works inspired by the extreme nature of Iceland, contemplating the fragility of life, the encroaching threat of infection, and the themes of life and death.
