[urgent] time's ticking on eternity _________________________________________________ The concept of the laiRds series is that by deconstructing the 'pixels' of my past, I am able to create a new path, an uncharted future. This is not done by discarding the memories (good & bad), the mistakes, or anything in between; but by learning from them. Using every piece of what got me here and tearing it all apart to understand where I am and where I'm going. Then, using all of it to reassemble the pixels into life's image with newfound clarity and meaning. One with endless possibilities, uniquely my own creation filled with confidence and a high level of appreciation for everything and everyone close to me. All while also understanding that it is an evolving process. Following reassembly, every piece can still present a new story each time they are explored, even for me as the creator. Cell phone photographs taken at work, on night shift as a school custodian. A total of 1,156 images were used in the series and 34 images per piece. They were randomly selected into 34 separate groups of 34 images. They were each organized and different filters/opacity/etc applied to each layer. All resulting in a completely unique piece of art, created from images that would normally be discarded and long forgotten.
