It was just after 9 p.m., and I had just completed my first hike in Senja, Norway, to the summit of Husfjellet. This was a place I had been eager to visit for years, and now, I finally had the chance.
The hike turned out to be more challenging than I expected, but the views along the way were absolutely incredible. I found myself in awe, thinking how incredible it was to witness such beauty with my own eyes. Then, in the distance, I noticed a small boat on the horizon, surrounded by water that looked like it belonged in a tropical paradise.
The scene was too good to miss. I fast grabbed my camera and began capturing the moment. There were opportunities for stunning photos everywhere—a blessing and a challenge. The difficulty lay in having to pass up some shots that, under different circumstances, would have been impossible to resist.
That night, I captured many photographs and created amazing memories. I returned to my car late, thanks to the midnight sun of the Norwegian summer, which provided the best light during the night.
What made this trip even more special was that I spent the entire 13 days sleeping in my car. It was an experience that was both fun and challenging. At times, I loved it; at other times, I hated it. But overall, it was a great adventure, and I saved a lot of money in the process.
