rare mfers season 1 card 9 artist notes: I think it was from one of Sartoshi's last tweets that I heard him say that "mfers just go about their day. that's how they build stuff" They don't argue what cannot be changed; instead they build upon what is at hand. By that time I wasn't part of the mfer community. I looked from afar and wondered what the fuss was about. I did wonder why people would invest such an amount of money on a stick figurine. My soul still rejected his true nature. My degen nature. So I did the mfer piece looking from a far window, still not being there. That is the piece. Me admiring from a far window at everything I saw the mfers built. A future that can only be built when you keep going, when you keep working, when you keep building no matter how hard mfer life can be. And we all know it can be a shit show. So it was during the making of the piece, and the research for it, that Sartoshi came back from the dead. Just when I decided to join the community and make the investment. It was perfect. And what did I find? That being a stick figure, that does what he wants, is the best feeling in the world. That saying the stuff as a mfer feels liberating. I was a degen all along and the mfers made me accept it. I mean no harm, just want to make cartoons and love my Valentina. I just want to build the underground of the internet with my frends. A mfer city of the future...for future mfers. Because mfers go about their day.
