we had climbed to a height of more than 15,000 feet, we could see the peaks on all sides. The cars in front of us came to a halt after a few miles of driving. To get to the vantage point, we had to walk a long distance, but once I got there, I couldn't believe what I was witnessing! What a sight to behold! It was as if I was in heaven! Before, I'd never seen the Himalayan peaks so vividly and some so close to my face. It was like being able to see the greatest of the world from this vantage point! I was overcome with emotion by the sheer beauty of it. Emotions and the chilly, windy weather were to blame for the tears I shed.... For the better part of 20-25 minutes, I stood speechless before this magnificent site. The vantage point offered a full 360-degree panorama. I couldn't pick which direction offered the finest view because it was breathtaking from every viewpoint. Peaks like Chau Chau, Manirang, and Kanamo could be readily seen from here. The picture says it all.
