Glitch Goddess Sweep, the second piece in the Spectral Shift collection, is a multi-modal artwork that brings together character design, imaginary world creation, and generative art. This piece, influenced by the Glitch Candies collection and AI idiosyncrasies, was developed using a variety of AI tools and bespoke models. Glitch Goddess Sweep is an embodiment of my artistic exploration at the juncture where character design, imaginary world building, and generative art intersect. These three distinct fields hold particular interest for me, and my aim is to conceive new aesthetics that harmoniously blend these mediums. At the core of the artwork is the audio component, crafted using hardware machines and a custom-made modular synth setup. The audio doesn't simply complement the visuals; it is in dynamic interplay with them. The animation responds to the rhythmic section of the soundtrack, and the composition was designed to aesthetically match the visuals. This synergistic relationship enhances the immersive nature of the work, affirming its status as a truly audio-visual experience. The work has gained notable recognition, being a finalist in the Deforum competition – a themed contest centred on 'Dreams'. It was subsequently exhibited at the Dreamforum event at Bright Moments in LA from 21-23 July 2023.
