44 was a creation by the creator to organize the storage and basement of the factory. The creator visits him very much due to the fact that he doesn’t get much time upstairs or anywhere else for the basement is Underground at least 40 stories deep. 44 had such a gift of organization and cleanliness he was able to take all of Seth‘s work and be able to organize it for him in such a proper way that he was so grateful that it became his sworn duty to serve him and the creator.
