Happiness Belongs in Memory
"She denied the treachery
Of the present filled with maybe
As the flowers were tainted by her sanity
The bright colors screamed her insecurity
It wasn't recent but recurrent
As she's buried in her present
Alone & with resentment
Was it entombed inside the slumbering peony?
She searched & lurched
And crawled a thousand scenery
Whispered to a thousand deity
And all those entities,
she had befriended many
It was neither here nor there
And nothing merged but despair
Sleeping in her purgatory
Dreaming a day where she would be free
As happiness only belongs in memory"
This piece talks about adults who struggle to find happiness in their life & in the end decided to live their life believing that happiness doesn't exist anymore.
