描述

Charlotte Dann’s “Vitreous” draws mysterious scenes of celestial arrangements and atomic bonds. Inspired by the artist’s fused glass practice, the background is layered with amorphous transparent forms that distort and magnify the art underneath, highlighting the abstract networks and connections that blur together upon first sight. In isolation, glass as a material is simple and transparent, but when used as a lens its most magical and unique property is revealed: the warping of perception. The new realities these distortions create are no less authentic than those absent of their effect – validating their alternate perspectives as an expansion of how we see our inner truth.
