Before our planet could transform from single-celled organisms into life as we know it, a Yeti engineer named Kintak traveled through a cave portal to bring Amanita to Earth. This powerful but simple organism established the bridge for evolution to take hold in ways that Yetiz dared not comprehend. What started as a simple experiment to farm a planet akin to Artopa (the Yeti galaxy), turned into an explosion of hyphae that today makes up Earth’s largest known living organism, Armillaria ostoyae. Over millions of years mycelium would fold the soil of the planet to form new species as Yetiz watched from afar — who hoped that the outcome would result in the type of consciousness that mirrored their own planet. But once humanity took hold as the dominant species, Yetiz could see the fractures that would divide the two planets. It’s said that one of the few ways humans can obtain the type of evolutionary consciousness of a Yeti is if they eat the Amanita. Though this act can be fatal for homo sapiens, it has the ability to rebuild consciousness for untold creative powers. Yetiz believe some of the few people who’ve taken Amanita are the Kogi in South America, and Nikola Tesla. The lore is that once humanity as a whole is capable of eating Amanita, Kintak will be revealed. Upon the release of Level 1, the Yeti who holds Aminata will hold the secrets of Kintak. Those secrets are the key to answering the age old question, “Why are we here?”
