We wanted to utilize this technology in a new way and apply the digital collectables idea to limited edition high fashion magazines. Web3 is decentralized so instead of large swathes of the internet controlled and owned by centralized entities, ownership gets equally distributed amongst its creators, allowing full end-to-end creative freedom and control. About Kandai:first issue cover star Kandai is a Japanese surfer based in California. He really is just a cool guy that surfs everyday who also loves to shoot film on 8mm cameras. Nicola finds it interesting to merge Kandai’s authentic aesthetic mixed with Nicola’s high fashion meet CYberpunk look, mixing his traditional surfer and his take on all things futuristic, Web3, VR & AR new world.
