My wife Annie and I visited this private collection of vintage road signs and memorabilia not far from our home on a warmer day at the beginning of Spring 2023. The melting snow created reflective puddles that made making compositions here fun and challenging.
This collection of old cars and gas pumps felt a lot like the motivations behind some of my photography. Preserving relics like these—in one form or another—helps them live longer, and be enjoyed by more people in times or situations where they may not have been around for much longer without that attempt at preservation.
