Part 003:
I was born in the city, raised in the city, and I’ll die in the city. It’s all I’ve ever known. The towering skyscrapers, the never-ending rain, the constant hum of electricity in the air.
I’ve never seen the sun, but I’ve heard stories about it. They say it’s a beautiful thing, but I’m not sure I believe them.
I’ve never been outside the city, but I dream about it sometimes. In my dreams, I’m flying high above the clouds, looking down on the city from a vantage point I’ve never seen before.
I know it’s just a dream, but it’s a nice dream.
