The year is 2401, all planets, galaxies, and solar systems are governed by a strict set of rules derived from the ancient sport of American Football. Every planet, every satellite, and every space station had their own football teams and leagues. The championship game, known as the Galactic Bowl, is held every year and is broadcasted to every corner of the universe. The entire galaxy waits with baited breath to see which team will emerge victorious and claim the title of Universal Champions. The players, who come from all walks of life and every inhabited planet, are hailed as heroes and icons. The game was played the same as it was on Earth, with a few slight modifications to accommodate for the diverse array of alien species that participated. Some planets even had their own unique twists on the game, such as an aquatic version played in the oceans of a water-covered planet. Two rival species, the Yellow Beak Eagles and the Green Eyes Lizards, have been locked in a centuries-long rivalry and now they are playing for the title of the Universal Champions. The two sides must each choose a team of 11 players, and the winner of the game will decide the fate of the universe for one year. The game begins, and the Yellow Beak Eagles quickly take the lead, and by the end of the fourth quarter, the score is 35-7. The Green Eyes Lizards have no chance of coming back, and the Yellow Beak Eagles are declared the victors. They have won the game, and with it, the universe. The American Football League has declared them the rulers of the universe, and their laws are now the official laws until the next year title.
