Sky Pods, created by A0K1VERSE, in collaboration with oncyber and Inferstudio, are the next step into the A0K1 metaverse. The pods represent a virtual home that can be used to display art, listen to music, and gather with friends. The Ultraviolet Sky Pod features a gallery ring with room to display 25 works, a concealed pool deck, and a spacious interior with a music studio inspired by Steve Aoki’s own mixing room. Ultraviolet pods feature an expansive wardrobe area for the display of fashion NFTs or digital wearables, and living spaces that are generously sized with abundant room along walls, floor, and shelves for additional artwork display. These pods feature pink and violet sub-surface scattering materials, alluding to semi-translucent stones like quartz and granite, but with an ethereal weightlessness only possible in a digital world. These materials develop the concept that in virtual worlds, it is computational complexity rather than physical properties that determines material rarity and value. Ultraviolet pods are fourth along a sliding scale of weightlessness, with pods floating higher into the atmosphere with each ascending A0K1VERSE passport tier.
