This token is one of a number of tokens, featuring different works of art, designed to provide people with the opportunity to create their own art collections and art galleries containing some of the greatest works of art ever made. Each token has an image of a work of art and a description and explanation of the art which refers to the history of the art and which makes the tokens unique and different. This token, showing Tom Thomson’s painting, The Jack Pine, is offered in a limited edition of 10,000 tokens which enables it to be offered at a reasonable price, so a collector will be able to afford a number of different tokens, showing different works of art, to create their collection.
