Nature illuminated my dark childhood; now, I aim to draw its glow
Many of us experienced a complex childhood and turned to hobbies to navigate the chaos.
For me, nature was my sanctuary.
I was raised in Norway so I was surrounded by beautiful forests and mountains.
In our front yard we had large pink roses that I spent hours staring at, amazed by how delicate and intricate they were.
In this piece I wanted to capture the feeling of being squeezed by a never ending feeling of chaos while holding onto the one thing that brought me peace.
