Morgan Le Fay was born to a noble family in a small village in the kingdom of Camelot. When she was still a young girl, her parents were killed in a brutal raid by an enemy army. Morgan was the only survivor. She was taken in by a local witch, who taught her the ways of magic. Morgan quickly developed a strong grasp of spells and potion-making. She also showed a natural talent for divination and prophecy. When she came of age, Morgan left her home village and journeyed to the court of Camelot, where she became one of Queen Guinevere's ladies-in-waiting. It was during this time that Morgan met and fell in love with King Arthur. However, their relationship was forbidden by law and so they could never be together openly. In secret, however, they would often meet in the forest outside of Camelot to discuss their plans for the future. During one of these meetings, Arthur told Morgan of his dream to create a utopia where all people would be equal, no matter their station in life. Inspired by his vision, Morgan pledged herself to help him achieve this goal. Over the years, Morgan used her magic to help Arthur win many battles against his enemies. She also worked tirelessly to try and heal those who had been injured or harmed during the fighting. Slowly but surely, Camelot began to prosper under Arthur's rule and things seemed like they might finally be on track to achieving the utopia he had dreamed of. Unfortunately, this moment of peace was not meant to last. While away on campaign, Arthur was betrayed by one of his closest friends and mortally wounded in battle. As he lay dying in Morgan's arms, he made her swear to continue fighting for their cause even after he was gone. And so she has done ever since. Even thoughArthur is gone, Morgan continues to use her magic for the good of others. She has become known far and wide as the Sorceress of Camelot and has earned both admiration and fear from those who know of her power.
