Iceland is a land of contrasts, which include colorful surreal volcanic landscapes and frozen icy glaciers. This series of two shows two of these scenes.
A group of people are dwarfed by the the stark landscape of the glacier Sólheimajökull, with black ash from previous volcanic eruptions swirling with the white and blue ice of the glacier. Makes us realize how small we humans are in the grand scheme of things in this world.
