I know me.
I would have stood frozen for eternity
in that airless, sunless chamber of
obscure passive aggressive ultimata
built entirely of sharp silences
accepting all of your defilements,
gaslighting, and torture..
just for the chance to find our way
back to hi how are you.
I would have let you tell me
that I am a solar lamp
made of avocado skins,
that I do not need water to live,
that the earth is a tetrahedron
but only on third Thursdays,
that oranges are green
and apples are blue,
if only we could return to
hi how are you what is new friend.
My devotion still could not figure out
how to generate.. what'd you call it?
