A Ukrainian actor and director of Crimean Tatar origin joined the ranks of the Kyiv terror defense in the early days of the full-scale invasion. “My friend and I didn’t think much. We sat, smoked a cigarette and decided to go,” he says in a calm voice. The director recalls that at that time there were long queues of those wishing to join the ranks of the terror defense, and everywhere it was heard that there were no weapons. However, they still managed to find a place in the 206th battalion of the Kyiv terror defense, with whom they immediately went to the hell of war. “We arrived, stood in line, signed a contract, received weapons, and on the same evening went to Gostomel. We spent almost three days there,” says the director.
