He received rigorous training in oil painting and printmaking. In 1974, he held his first professional painting exhibition and became a professional painter. Living and working in Tahiti (Bola Bora) for many years, exhibitions in the 1970s were limited to China. Since the 1990s, works have been gradually displayed in different countries. I have won several Italian art awards. I have participated in important international exhibitions in the United States. Over the years, collectors have spread throughout Western Europe, North America and China. Pastrello likes to read and travel. His works and life are deeply inspired by Lao Tzu's philosophy. In 2010, he was invited to hold a solo exhibition at the Shanghai World Expo and then set up a studio in Shanghai. Currently living and working between China and Italy.
The paintings are full of colors and symbols, presenting a lively abstract style, but they are not completely out of the concrete. After all, the shape itself also symbolizes other hidden meanings. His research is directly reflected on the canvas, truly recording what is happening in contemporary society (refugees, famine, news, emotions, etc.). From Pastrello's works, there is a clear, clear and deepest meaning: art cannot be separated from its center-the relationship between spirit and material, the relationship between illusion and reality. Reflected in his works are the meaning of rethinking, eradicating and creating and regenerating.
